Multiple Transmission Units -
( A Thunderbird Exclusive)

A unique feature, available on no other lateral wheeline, is a multiple transmission drive system that applies even torque to the entire length of the line. Because the torque is shared by more than one mover, mechanical stress on the system is minimal. The result allows for straighter-line movement for most field conditions.
An indirect benefit of this system is that the multiple transmissions also serve to constrain movement when the wheeline is stationary. Throwing a simple lever is all that's needed to put the system "in gear" to help prevent movement in windy conditions thus reducing the need for cumbersome anchors or stabilizers.
